Checker play
This is one of those situations where you can lay low and hope for a miracle roll or two or you can take a risk and try to make something happen. Which way to go? Well I chose to sit and wait which just isnt like me and I ended up with no chance to win since I dropped the double that came next. At a time like this, attacking on the 4pt is a must. You have to keep that last white checker on the bar and busy or you risk being primed to death. This is also your chance to take away half their roll which decreases their chances of making that prime and increases your chances of moving up to the edge and picking up another checker or two on the way to a gammon.
Keys to remember: Lots of volatility here but its early and you have to give yourself a chance. If a loose hit could turn out golden and give you a chance to save the game rather than sit and die, go for it!
