Checker play
Risks and Primes
I thought this was a tough call but Snowie didnt think it was. Making the 4pt came out as the clear winner. I need the 4pt to have a chance of breaking my opponents prime and leaving a shot right now is worth the risk. My timing is better, and they would still have to roll a 1 and a 6 to get that other checker out even after a hit. I was thinking short term. Short term, making the 9 and a broken 7pt prime looked pretty safe and pretty good but like I said before.. I need the 4pt to win.
Keys to Remember:
When faced with prime vs. prime situations it is important to have the prime in the first place because a win is unlikely without it. You need a prime to get your opponent to break theirs. You need to take the risks necessary to win the game.
