Checker play
Containment Slotting
When you are well behind and have been fortunate enough to hit a shot, sometimes you have to work a little harder to increase your winning chances. All too frequently opponents manage to weasel their way through your minefeild of checkers to make it safely home for the win. Here it is really obvious that I need my 4pt. The easiest way to make a point is to slot it first. This usually isn't recommended when your opponent is on the bar but desperate times call for desperate plays.
Keys to Remember: Play aggressively when behind and trying to contain that last checker. Slot needed points in your board and in your primes. If you get hit... No Worries Mon, that's just one extra checker you have back to hit them with on their way around.
