Checker play
Safety or Greed?
Ok so I made the wrong play either way you look at it. I was pretty sure I was going to get the gammon so I just wanted to avoid being hit. But hey.. why not go for the BACKGAMMON and win the match right now? Taking two off here not only gets me closer to winning the rare doubled backgammon, its a safer play.
Keys to Remember:
Always try to leave an even number of checkers on the last two points when bearing off in contact positions to avoid the nightmare doubles that give your opponent a chance. And go for the backgammon and the win when you have the chance. It is just oh so satisfying when you pull off a 6pt game.
