Checker play
Simple case of "should I stay or should I go".
After this roll I am only 5 pips behind. Clearly I should go because I am still in the race especially because I have a good distribution for the bear-off and my opponent has a hole on the 4pt. Clearly I should go because my chances of getting a shot are very slim. Clearly I should go because there are several numbers which make a point on my head and several more which allow my opponent to pick and pass. Clearly I was not thinking clearly and I chose to stay.
Key points to remember: You should stay if you are so far behind that there is no way you can win without hitting a shot. You should go if you can still win the game in a race or if you are far more likely to get burned than get a shot.
