Checker play
Defense vs. Offense
The only correct move here is to make the opponents bar point and play a holding game but I hate seeing all my opponents checkers out of my board and instinctively hit. Wrong instincts.
Keys to remember: The big downside to my play was all the blots I leave. 5 blots is just too many when my opponent has a solid position and I am not yet in desperation mode. By making a defensive anchor I keep myself in the game, I am only 13 pips down after my roll, and I make coming home without being hit very tough for my opponent. Take your time in these situations.. the shots will come and by that time you will have better structure to do something positive after hitting a shot
