Cleaning up blots
Time to clean up some
blots with a great roll after some unsuccessful hitting. I thought covering
up every direct shot was the way to go and played it without too much
thought, happy for the opportunity to do so. In my haste I forgot how
important my opponents 5pt is to have and how I really dont need my two
point this early in the game.
Keys to remember: Any
opportunity to make your opponents 5pt should usually be taken advantage
of. Dont be hasty to make points deep in your board early in the game, and
take your time with doubles as they are the most difficult rolls to play
correctly.
