Checker play
Before this roll I could have actually doubled but I'm glad I missed it. Any numbers beside 6's and 5's hit on my 4 pt. and several hit and cover which could lead to a prime and give me plenty of time to move the back checkers around but I wasn't so fortunate. It's sometimes difficult to know when to leave an anchor or holding point. This isn't one of those times. First, getting hit is pretty much a given. Only 5-5, 5-2 and 5-3 miss. And almost half of those hitting numbers hit and cover. Even though I have to get those checkers around to win, my timing is terrible and I have to hope for doubles or to at least wait until there are fewer shots to make my run for it.
Keys to remember: Dont leave a holding point or anchor when you know you will just be hit. Sometimes you just have to wait it out.
