When to leave that anchor... well I chose to leave on this
roll which was a little early. The hit would be incorrect here even
though I am behind because the prime is my strongest asset right now. At
this point it is better to let the game take its course which will likely end
up in white being forced off of the 16 and 17 points giving me free reign of
the outfield ready to pick off whites last checker should it escape. Leaving
the anchor now just leaves me open to a pick and pass or hit and cover
which I may not be able to come back from especially because I am behind in
the race. Keys to remember: Hold tight onto a anchor when
behind until you absolutely HAVE to leave it. Have faith in
primes and let the game take its natural course.
