Checker play
This one was ugly. I got one of the best rolls I could hope for and I played it terribly. Making the 5pt. was automatic... even I couldn't screw that one up. But instead of seriously considering making the two point I stuck with the theme of making my points in order. Well this time I took the joke too far and hit loose on the 3pt hoping I didnt get hit back.
General keys to remember here: If you can make two points in your board and point on their head... do it. Making points in order isnt as important as making points. Don't look so hard for cute things to do with doubles. Doubles are the hardest rolls to play correctly and usually sticking with a simple theme is best. Oh ya, and don't take unnecessary risks just hoping that they work out.
